A few notes about coming to shows...

  • Dance at your own risk.
  • No stage diving or crowd surfing. You will be asked to leave if you are caught doing so, and you will be caught. 
  • No fighting. Period. You will be asked to leave the show and kicked out for 30 days.  If necessary, the police will be called and action will be taken.
  • Do not be intoxicated.  This is an all ages venue that focuses on youth.  While we would love your presence here regardless of age, please do not consume alcohol or participate in drugs before coming to a show here.
Getting To And Parking @ Rocketown Print E-mail

The city has begun construction for the new Convention Center, and so they are shutting down a huge area between 8th and 5th. This is going to make it a little more difficult to get to Rocketown, and so we have made this little map. You will need to enter the Rocketown parking lot through Peabody St. For more specific directions look below the map. When you arrive look for Rocketown staff to guide you to a parking space.

Thank you for your patience with us concerning parking - please arrive early and check the website each day before your next visit - for shows, after school programming, skatepark visits or other events! We love you for still coming and can't wait for you to see our new space!!! (we have our own parking lot there!!!!)

- Take 65 North into Nashville
- Exit at Broadway (towards downtown)
- Turn RIGHT on 8th Ave
- Turn LEFT onto Lafayette St.
- Turn LEFT onto 7th ave. south

From Louisville

-Go through the stop sign (6th Ave South), Take 1st left at the alley way (BY THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS BUILDING)
-At the end of the alley way, take a left onto Franklin St.
-Left on 6th Ave South, then you will see Rocketown's loading area on your right hand side.
 Demonbruen St Exit:
-Head east down Demonbreun St.
-Turn right onto 8th Ave South.
-Turn left onto Lafayette St.
-Turn left onto 7th Ave South
-Veer on your first right onto Peabody St.
-Go through the stop sign (6th Ave South), Take 1st left at the alley way (BY THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS BUILDING)
-At the end of the alley way, take a left onto Franklin St.
-Left on 6th Ave South, then you will see Rocketown's loading area on your right hand side.
 2nd/4th Ave Exit:
-Turn right onto 2nd Ave, heading north.
-Turn left onto Peabody St, at the light.
-Follow Peabody, crossing 4th ave and 5th ave.
-Turn right into the alley way. (BY THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS BUILDING)
-At the end of the alley way, take a left onto Franklin St.
-Left on 6th Ave South, then you will see Rocketown's loading area on your right hand side.
Shelby Ave Exit:
-Head west on Shelby Ave, towards downtown (GOING OVER THE BRIDGE)
-Take a left onto 4th Ave S.
-Take FIRST right onto Peabody St.
-Turn right into the alley way. (BY THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS BUILDING)
-At the end of the alley way, take a left onto Franklin St.
-Left on 6th Ave South, then you will see Rocketown's loading area on your right hand side.
 Wedgewood Exit:
-go away from the fairgrounds
-Turn right on 8th Ave
-Turn right on Lafayette
-Turn left on 7th Ave South
-Veer on your first right onto Peabody St.
-Go through the stop sign (6th Ave South), Take 1st left at the alley way (BY THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS BUILDING)
-At the end of the alley way, take a left onto Franklin St.
